A diagnostics medical facility in Abuja attends to Corporates clients only. It runs a price differentiation system where each Corporate has an agreed price for every service. The same service may cost customer A N10,000 while customer B pays N8,000. Every customer basically had an agreed price list. The Corporates would refer their staff to the Facility for medical tests. The front desk personnel would generate an Invoice. She certainly couldn’t memorize every client’s price list, neither did she do a good job of updating the price list for each new client signed up. Unknowing to the business owner, the front desk personnel simply resorted to billing whatever price she could remember. Two things began to happen-some customers were over-billed while some were under-billed. Returned invoices each day from over-billed customers; followed by abusive emails. Under-billed customer said nothing but the business kept losing money.

We advised the client to purchase our Process Improvement and Accounting system products. We developed processes around New client sign-up and Invoicing. The SageOne accounting system was setup, price lists was created for existing clients in the system. Upon signup, a new client is created in the system alongside their approved price list. The Invoicing personnel had no rights to influence the pricing as they were now automatically generated. SageOne has the ability to build several price lists and attach applicable price list to each customer.
